Hi! Welcome to Greenville Fit Twins!
We are so glad you are here. Currently, we live in Charlotte, NC where MB is teaching first grade and Sue is in graduate school. We found our love of health and wellness at Furman University though! Even though we are identical twins, we are two different people with different wellness goals. One of our goals is to show our readers what it looks like to live a healthy life! Below, you can get to know us each of us a little better!
Susannah:
Hi! My name is Susannah but most people tend to call me Sue. I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Health with an emphasis in
Nutrition from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill! So far, getting my MPH has been incredibly rewarding and I have absolutely loved diving into the world of health and nutrition. The field is constantly evolving, especially during a worldwide pandemic. I am excited to share more about my school experience with you guys! As for my personal wellness journey, this past year I have dove back into running and cooking. I have lately been inspired to go back to my roots and what makes me feel good which is running and cooking fresh meals. Its hard to balance with a busy schedule but who doesn’t have a hard time with balance?!
Mary Bradley:
Hi guys! My name is Mary Bradley, but since that is a mouthful, most of my friends call me MB. I am currently a First Grade Teacher in Charlotte and am also getting my Master’s in Elementary Education from Johns Hopkins University.
My wellness journey started with a run around the gorgeous Furman lake
in August where I realized I absolutely loved the way running made me feel. Running reminded me of the how I used to feel after a long two hour practice in the pool; tired but fit. That first run led a 10k race in October, my first half marathon in February, joining the Club Running Team in the fall of my junior year, my first race wearing a Paladin jersey, and to me signing up for my first marathon that will took place in December of 2018. Since then, I have run the New York City Marathon where I qualified for the Boston Marathon. I will be running Boston in April of 2022!!!
Thank You
We cannot wait to share more about our journey’s with you guys through out the course of this blog. We hope to inspire our readers with insight from our experiences and passions in the most genuine way possible. Thanks in advance for reading and for your support!
XOXO,
Sue & MB
